Meet the Team

Tyler Cureton, CPA

With extensive experience working for large multi-billion dollar public & private corporations and small private businesses, Tyler has the background and knowledge to help you and your business.  

In addition to being a licensed CPA, Tyler received an MBA from Duke University in 2010.  WIth a love for education and being in the classroom, he teaches accounting part-time at Frederick Community College.  His professional background includes running an Accounts Receivable team for a multi-billion dollar private company in the staffing services industry.  He later worked as the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, managing a staff of 60+ employees for a publicly traded corporation with annual revenues in excess of $2 billion. Most recently, Tyler returned to his small business roots as the Chief Financial Officer for a local child-care and summer camp business with 300+ employees. He also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Mountainside Education & Enrichment, a local non-profit organization.

Tyler is married with 3 children under the age of 5.  He loves to run, play basketball and volleyball, and spend time with his family.  He currently resides in Adamstown and has been an active participant in both the Frederick & Montgomery County communities through various local organizations. 

Hal Morgan, CPA

Hal Morgan has been a licensed CPA in Virginia since 2015. After receiving his BS in accountancy from BYU’s Marriott School of Management (a top 5 ranked accounting program) he moved to the DC area where he began his career at a big four accounting firm, working in assurance for a 100 billion dollar corporation in the Aerospace/Defense sector. He later moved to an internal accounting role at a 4.4 billion dollar publicly traded company in the biotech space. 

In 2017, Hal decided to give tax work a chance and discovered his passion for helping people save as much as possible. Since then, he has worked in local tax firms in tax planning and preparing returns for both individuals and businesses. 

Hal served in the Peace Corps in 2011-2012, is very handy around the house, and enjoys board games, hiking and gardening. He also became a new father in April of 2020.
